A beautiful specimen, fragile but feared.
What we don't understand, we see as weird.
You mean no harm though you bear death's sign.
To think you'd cause pain is simply out of line.
The symbol of death is the burden you bear.
It's not who you are, but they don't care.
They'll exterminate you at first sight.
Crushing something beautiful, not realizing their blight.
Your goal in life is merely to seek out the Moon.
Be easy now, you'll reach it soon.
Your brief life is a metaphor of everything we know.
Beauty unrecognized until we have to let it go.
We must strive to appreciate nature while we can.
For the end can come just as quickly as it began.
